About WMUA Sports

We cover around 80 different UMass athletics events annually. Each year we get to bring you the listener the sounds of UMass football, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, and baseball from venues across the country. Our student staff does all the work to keep you in touch with the games you want. We recently received the AP award for best college sports broadcast and look to build on and continue the success we've had in the past. Whether it's with our daily sportsflahes during newscasts, weekly sportstalk show, or when we're calling the game we hope that you tune in to WMUA for the best sports coverage in the valley.

Be a part of WMUA Sports

WMUA Sports always welcomes students interested in broadcasting UMass games to become a member of the team. Although we can't pay you, broadcasting is a fun and exciting experience. You get to tell the game like it is and have some of the best seats in the house. Whether a casual fan, a numbers know-it-all or someone seriously interested in getting the experience needed to get into the business, you can fit in at WMUA Sports. Through WMUA you can instantly become a member of the sports media and gain the experience needed to get into the field of broadcasting.
